It was a royal affair in the Cotswolds as the King’s niece Zara Tindall<\/a> and her aunt, the Duchess of Edinburgh<\/a>, enjoyed an outing at the\u00a0Cornbury House Horse Trials.<\/p>\n

Princess Anne<\/a>‘s daughter took part in the equestrian events, on her beloved steed Classical Euro Star, looking ready for action in her riding gear.<\/p>\n

Sporting white jodhpurs, a navy blazer and black boots, she looked graceful while taking part in the day’s festivities in Oxfordshire.<\/p>\n

Later, the mother-of-three swapped into a beige jumper to match her taupe manicure, opting for a fresh-faced make-up look and keeping her blonde tresses back in a ponytail.<\/p>\n

In other snaps, she could also be seen in dark skinny jeans and trendy wellies, along with a chic khaki overcoat.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ready for the rain, Zara, 44, also held onto an umbrella and fedora hat.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, prince Edward’s wife Sophie, 60, was still glowy and tanned from the summer, and sported some shades to shield her eyes from the sun.<\/p>\n

Matching her niece, she went for neutral tones with a patterned grey blazer worn over a white button-up tucked into a flowy navy skirt.<\/p>\n

The website brands it as ‘the ideal setting to see some of the the finest young horses and riders in the country competing in dressage, cross country and show jumping’.<\/p>\n

Guests are invited to enjoy ‘sustainable food and drink from our neighboring farms, premium hospitality, along with interactive kids activities alongside the superb competition’.<\/p>\n

It’s no surprise to see Zara, a former Olympian equestrian, at the event. The royal also showed off her riding skills last month as she took part in the Hartpury International Horse Trials in Gloucestershire.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere last week, Sophie looked solemn as she donned all black for her first public engagement since it was announced that Katharine, Duchess of Kent had passed away<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The royal, 60, was away on a four-day visit to Canada<\/a> and arrived in the country on Thursday night<\/a> before news of the Duchess’ death was announced on Friday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At 92, Katharine, the wife of the late Queen’s cousin, became the oldest member of the royal family<\/a> following Queen Elizabeth’s death in 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Prince Edward<\/a>‘s wife was the first member of the royal family to be seen since her death, attending a pre-arranged engagement to\u00a0Spruce Meadows, a multi-purpose sports facility near Calgary in Alberta.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Duchess was seen with a solemn expression as she carried out her duties, and appeared to be wearing mourning attire, dressing in a simple shirtdress from Gabriela Hearst with a black tie around her waist.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She opted for pared-back jewellery, including Adore earrings, and at times shielded her expression behind her brown Stella McCartney<\/a> sunglasses.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

It is believed that members of the royal family will usually carry a black mourning outfit with them whenever they travel in case news breaks while they are still abroad.\u00a0<\/p>\n
