A man has been arrested by police investigating the murder of a 25-year-old woman in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

Lisa Dorrian was last seen alive on the night of 27 February 2005 in Co Down.<\/p>\n

She disappeared after attending a party at Ballyhalbert Caravan Park.<\/p>\n

Despite extensive searches in multiple locations and campaigning by her family, Ms Dorrian’s body has never been found.<\/p>\n

The Police Service of Northern Ireland believes that she was murdered that night or in the early hours of the following morning.<\/p>\n

The force’s Major Investigation Team, which is investigating Ms Dorrian’s murder, has arrested a 68-year-old man.<\/p>\n

He is being detained on suspicion of murder, assisting offenders, withholding information and preventing a lawful and decent burial.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, the PSNI released CCTV footage of Ms Dorrian’s last-known movements<\/a> in a bid to jog memories on the 20th anniversary of her disappearance.<\/p>\n
