Richard Keys has hit out at referee Anthony Taylor following Leeds United\u2019s 3-3 draw with Liverpool at the weekend.<\/p>\n

Ao Tanaka smashed home the equaliser for Leeds<\/a> in added time, as Daniel Farke\u2019s side fought back from 2-0 and 3-2 down to grab a vital point.<\/p>\n

Hugo Ekitike\u2019s brace had seemingly put Liverpool into an unassailable lead before goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin<\/a> and Anton Stach turned the game on its head.<\/p>\n

Dominik Szoboszlai put Arne Slot\u2019s side back in front, but the Reds could not hang on, and Tanaka was on hand to send Elland Road berserk<\/a> in the 96th minute.<\/p>\n

Anthony Taylor slammed for Willy Gnonto decision<\/p>\n

With Leeds 2-0 down, Willy Gnonto was introduced by Farke, and the winger made an impact just 10 minutes after coming on.<\/p>\n

The Italian drove into the box and was brought down by Ibrahima Konate, but referee Anthony Taylor initially waved the protests away<\/a>.<\/p>\n

VAR eventually intervened and awarded Leeds the spot-kick, which Calvert-Lewin duly converted to spark the comeback.<\/p>\n

Writing on his blog on Monday, presenter Richard Keys<\/a> slammed Taylor for needing VAR to penalise Konate\u2019s challenge on Gnonto and give the penalty.<\/p>\n

Keys said: \u201cWhy did Anthony Taylor need VAR to give Leeds a clear pen? Doesn\u2019t he see anything? It\u2019s two weeks in a row now he\u2019s needed the tech to clear up something we all saw.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the start of the month, Taylor initially gave Moises Caicedo a yellow card for a challenge in Chelsea\u2019s top-of-the-table clash against Arsenal, before VAR advised he upgraded his decision to a sending off.<\/p>\n

Daniel Farke faces Willy Gnonto issue<\/p>\n

Gnonto was excellent in his substitute appearance against Liverpool<\/a>, driving at defenders and helping Leeds back into the game.<\/p>\n

Farke faces a slight issue trying to get the winger into the Whites\u2019 new 5-3-2 formation, but he could decide to play the 22-year-old as a striker.<\/p>\n

With Lukas Nmecha\u2019s fitness in serious doubt, Leeds are in search of someone to play alongside Calvert-Lewin, and Gnonto could prove to be the perfect foil to the former Everton man. <\/p>\n

The Elland Road outfit travel to Brentford next in the Premier League<\/a>, as they look to build on a very positive week.<\/p>\n
