Like the other contestants, the show was challenging for me from the very beginning and there were moments that were mentally exhausting,\u201d says Tanya. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/ht-img\/img\/2025\/12\/08\/550x309\/IMG_2130_1765216732194_1765216746707.webp\" alt=\"Tanya Mittal\" title=\"Tanya Mittal\" width=\"360\" height=\"202\" loading=\"eager\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/>Tanya Mittal<\/p>\n<p class=\"articleDetail_content__LXgYY \">Throughout the season, Tanya was repeatedly called \u201cfake,\u201d a tag she addresses directly. \u201cI\u2019ve always been straightforward about who I am. I come from a family where I\u2019ve grown up with certain habits and comforts, and I don\u2019t see why that should be questioned,\u201d she explains. \u201cIf I choose to spend on myself or maintain a particular lifestyle, it\u2019s because I can. I work for it. That doesn\u2019t make me pretentious. If a 30-year-old is able to take care of her needs, desires, what\u2019s the issue with that,\u201d says Tanya.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"articleDetail_content__LXgYY  0-0-0\">She adds that her choices often drew unnecessary scrutiny. \u201cThere\u2019s this assumption that if a woman does something slightly unconventional, it becomes a topic of debate. For example, people questioned why I spoke about having bodyguards. I don\u2019t think such things should be restricted to men or celebrities. If someone can afford security, it\u2019s their choice, simply a personal preference.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"articleDetail_content__LXgYY  0-0-0\">Despite the commentary around her, Tanya remains firm about where she comes from. \u201cPeople tend to forget that what they see on a reality show is not the complete person. I\u2019ve grown up in a very cultured, grounded household, and I\u2019m proud of that. Whatever anyone saw inside the house was situational. It doesn\u2019t define my upbringing or values,\u201d she explains. <\/p>\n<p class=\"articleDetail_content__LXgYY  0-0-0\">Summing up her journey, she says, \u201cI know I can be too much for some people, but I have always lived on my own terms.
