{"id":182079,"date":"2025-12-09T01:39:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T01:39:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/182079\/"},"modified":"2025-12-09T01:39:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T01:39:07","slug":"mary-mcmorrow-announced-as-swim-ireland-interim-ceo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/182079\/","title":{"rendered":"Mary McMorrow Announced As Swim Ireland Interim CEO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\tMary McMorrow Becomes Swim Ireland Interim CEO<\/p>\n<p>Chief Operations Officer for Swim Ireland, Mary McMorrow, has been announced as the Swim Ireland Interim CEO with Sarah Keane leaving to take up a role as CEO of Cricket Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Keane <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/swim-ireland-ceo-sarah-keane-to-step-down-in-february-2026-to-take-up-cricket-role\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">will end her 20-year tenure with Swim Ireland<\/a> on 31 January 2026 with McMorrow set to become Interim CEO early next\u00a0 month to ensure a smooth transition.<\/p>\n<p>McMorrow has been with Swim Ireland for over a decade and currently serves as Chief Operations Officer and Company Secretary with\u00a0 extensive experience in governance, strategic planning, and national facilities development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">She also serves as Co-Chair of the LEN European Aquatics Learn to Swim Commission and is a Governance Mentor for World Aquatics.<\/p>\n<p>McMorrow said through Swim Ireland:\u00a0\u201cI am honoured to accept the role of Interim CEO of Swim Ireland. Having been part of this organisation for over a decade, I am deeply committed to our mission and to the continued growth and success of Irish aquatics. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI look forward to working with our talented team of staff and volunteers, our partners, and the wider swimming community to ensure a smooth transition and to advance our strategic priorities.
