Silver flashes were reflecting all around, as clear as a child\u2019s laughter.\u2019 <\/p>\n<p>The Italian coffee brand Lavazza hired street photographer Alex Webb to shoot its 2026 calendar, using his colorful aesthetic to capture the essence of life in Italy. <\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalcameraworld.com\/photography\/photography-styles\/alex-webb-brings-magnum-prestige-and-vibrant-color-to-the-2026-lavazza-calendar\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow external noopener nofollow\">reported by Digital Camera World<\/a>, Webb shot the project over the course of two weeks on his Leica M (Typ 240) rangefinder camera with a <a href=\"https:\/\/petapixel.com\/2023\/02\/08\/leicas-new-l-mount-35mm-f-2-and-50mm-f-2-are-surprisingly-affordable\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Summicron 35mm f\/2 lens<\/a> attached most of the time. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI basically tried to recreate scenes that have a sense of energy and life and color,\u201d Webb, who has been a member of Magnum photos since 1979, says <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Lbk2zBmwPMs\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow external noopener nofollow\">in a behind-the-scenes video<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m very much a color photographer, I believe in the emotional quality of color, and so I tried to come up with scenes that have some kind of resonance along those lines.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Webb adds that Italy has always had an \u201caesthetic tradition,\u201d while invoking the Renaissance. \u201cI tried to follow the light, and the colors, and the movements of people, and capture things that had a certain level of energy and resonance,\u201d he adds. <\/p>\n<p> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/February-800x531.jpg\" alt=\"Four servers in uniforms are in a restaurant; one serves fruit, another juggles an orange, a third presents dessert, and a seated server gestures with a hand.
