{"id":183489,"date":"2025-12-09T19:58:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T19:58:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/183489\/"},"modified":"2025-12-09T19:58:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T19:58:07","slug":"four-kerry-entities-forced-to-pay-almost-e1-million-to-the-revenue-commissioners-in-latest-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/183489\/","title":{"rendered":"Four Kerry entities forced to pay almost \u20ac1 million to the Revenue Commissioners in latest list"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Four Kerry entities have been forced to pay almost \u20ac1 million (\u20ac964,363) to the Revenue Commissioners.<\/p>\n<p>They were included in the most recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revenue.ie\/en\/corporate\/press-office\/list-of-defaulters\/index.aspx\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">List of Tax Defaulters<\/a>, published by Revenue this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The list covers the period 1 July to 30 September 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Company director and PAYE employee, Helena Moore of Brentfield, Island Road in Fenit, was found to have under-declared Income Tax when Revenue conducted an audit.<\/p>\n<p>Her total settlement was for over \u20ac683,000 (\u20ac683,369), including over \u20ac168,000 (\u20ac168,352) in interest and almost \u20ac119,000 (\u20ac118,849) in penalties.<\/p>\n<p>Freight transportation service provider, Dingle Transport Limited of Unit 3, Trabeg Business Park in Dingle, underwent a Level 2 audit, which is used for more complex tax matters.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiokerry.ie\/news\/revenue\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Revenue<\/a> found an under-declaration of payroll taxes, specifically PAYE, PRSI and USC.<\/p>\n<p>The total settlement amounted to over \u20ac166,000 (\u20ac166,398), including almost \u20ac27,000 (\u20ac26,962) in interest and almost \u20ac60,000 (\u20ac59,758) in penalties.<\/p>\n<p>Company director and landlord, F. Rowland Blennerhassett of Sea Meadow, Cappanacush East, Templenoe in Kenmare, was found to have under-declared Capital Gains Tax (CGT) when Revenue carried out an audit.<\/p>\n<p>Revenue is demanding a total settlement of almost \u20ac115,000 (\u20ac114,596), all of which remained unpaid as of 30 September 2025, including almost \u20ac33,000 (\u20ac32,576) in interest and over \u20ac23,000 (\u20ac23,434) in penalties.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, LAM Catering Limited, trading as Vendrick\u2019s Restaurant at 3\u20134 The Courtyard, Fairhill in Killarney, was found guilty of operating without a valid, up-to-date liquor licence.<\/p>\n<p>It received a court fine of \u20ac850.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Four Kerry entities have been forced to pay almost \u20ac1 million (\u20ac964,363) to the Revenue Commissioners.
