Like it or not, Euphoria<\/a> season three is on the way. The HBO show about the world\u2019s most troubled teens is coming back in April, featuring a time jump that will turn the characters into the world\u2019s most troubled young adults. In addition to its main cast \u2014 most of whom are now A-list stars \u2014 the third season will also host a slew of guests<\/a>, including Trisha Paytas and Rosal\u00eda. Sounds like there\u2019s a lot going on, so the question is, Will any of it work? Jacob Elordi<\/a> seems to have his doubts.<\/p>\n Elordi did Variety and CNN\u2019s<\/a> \u201cActors on Actors\u201d with Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a> on Tuesday, and one of the first things they talked about was Euphoria. Paltrow told Elordi that she loves the show, even though her kids cautioned her against it.<\/p>\n \u201cI finished filming a new season just recently, and it\u2019s a completely different thing,\u201d Elordi\u00a0told Paltrow, who asked if his character, Nate Jacobs, was going to be any nicer this time around. \u201cI really do think so,\u201d he responded. \u201cWhether it works or not \u2014 I don\u2019t know. There\u2019s a chance that what I\u2019ve done is not good.\u201d<\/p>\n I\u2019m sure that is exactly what the HBO execs want their lead hunk to be saying. Personally, I appreciate the honesty. So just how \u201ccompletely different\u201d will Elordi\u2019s arc be this time around? At an HBO event last week, creator Sam Levinson gave some hints<\/a> about what Nate and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) would be getting up to. \u201cCassie is living in the suburbs with Nate. They\u2019re engaged, and she\u2019s very addicted to social media and envious of what appears to be the big lives that all of her high-school classmates are living at this point in time,\u201d Levinson said, adding that the couple\u2019s wedding will be an \u201cunforgettable night.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Zendaya\u2019s Rue is apparently on the run in Mexico, hiding out from a drug dealer, and Hunter Schaefer\u2019s Jules is in art school. So you can sort of see how Elordi might be nervous about how this whole thing is going to come together.
