The past four releases in the series have been Modern Warfare II (2022), Modern Warfare III (2023), Black Ops 6 (2024), and Black Ops 7 (2025), but moving forward, Activision wants to offer \u201can absolutely unique experience each and every year,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.callofduty.com\/blog\/2025\/12\/call-of-duty-message-from-the-team\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">according to a blog post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Black Ops 7 came out in November to mixed reviews, and in Europe, the game had a \u201cdisappointing launch,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamebusiness.com\/p\/call-of-duty-black-ops-7-drops-to\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Game Business reports<\/a>.
