A power fault has caused disruption to Luas services in Dublin with traffic delays reported across the city centre.<\/p>\n
There is currently no service across the whole of the Green Line.<\/p>\n
The Red Line has fully reopened after being suspended between Smithfield and The Point and Connolly.<\/p>\n
Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of this service disruption.<\/p>\n
The power fault has also caused diversions to a number of Dublin Bus services on Nassau Street.<\/p>\n
Luas operator Transdev apologised for any inconvenience caused.<\/p>\n
Technicians are on site and will work their way systematically along the Green Line to identify the source of the fault, the operator said.<\/p>\n
It added that it will provide an explanation of the cause of the power outage once power has been fully restored and maintenance teams have completed their analysis.<\/p>\n
The service disruption has caused knock-on effects with traffic delays reported in the city.<\/p>\n
