The supplied silicone strap with woven detailing is sporty enough for workouts, yet elegant enough for wearing to work or a dinner engagement.<\/p>\n It has a responsive touchscreen for navigating the slick user interface along with two physical buttons including a rotating crown that serves as both a scrolling mechanism and a secondary programmable button. You can also double-tap the crown for a view of your most recently used apps, which means switching between them is fast and fluid. Pressing both buttons simultaneously takes screenshots and the images are saved inside the Huawei Health app and automatically synced to your phone\u2019s gallery.<\/p>\n The 1.47in AMOLED display is super bright and colourful with 3,000 nits of peak brightness. The display has 466 x 466 pixel resolution and is protected with a sapphire crystal for strong durability, and the frame is forged with aerospace-grade titanium alloy. The robustly made wearable is IP69-rated for dust and water resistance and can be submerged for up to 50 metres. You can dive up to 40 metres wearing the watch.<\/p>\n The fitness tracking is top notch with more than 100 activities supported. The firm said heart rate accuracy is improved here especially for running and cycling. Runners also get information such as distance, pace, cadence, heart rate and calories burned alongside more specific metrics such as ground contact time, vertical oscillation, balance, VO2Max, HRV, intensity and training stress. Cyclists get the new virtual power meter that displays real-time and average power while cycling, similar to a traditional cycling power meter. Golfers also get enhanced features. The likes of distance tracking and heart rate monitoring compared favourably in accuracy to dedicated multisport watches such as the Garmin Venu X1<\/a> and Polar Grit X2 Pro<\/a>.<\/p>\n You also get heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, pulse wave arrhythmia analysis, arterial stiffness detection, skin temperature monitoring, detailed sleep analysis, stress level detection, ECG recording and wellness tracking. The ECG readings can help detect early-stage atrial fibrillation (AFib) which is also known as irregular heart rhythm. You can easily export your ECG reports in the Huawei Health app to send to your physician.<\/p>\n The GT 6 Pro <\/a>is compatible with third-party sensors such as heart rate straps, cadence sensors, power meters and speedometers, which is good news for dedicated athletes.<\/p>\n Sleep tracking on Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro <\/a>was consistently accurate in terms of nodding off and waking up times and accurately logged some instances of waking up and getting up during the night. The insights also offer sleep stages (light, deep, REM), heart rate, SpO2 and your average respiratory rate. Sleep stages reporting is not 100 percent accurate on any wearable and results differ greatly from device to device whenever I\u2019m comparing.<\/p>\n Watch GT 6 Pro <\/a>supports offline maps using the reliable Huawei Petal Maps app. You have the ability to download regional maps for specific countries, complete with topography details. You can import routes as a GPX file on the watch to help you on runs and hikes. GPS tracking is super accurate thanks to the dual band GNSS. Again I compared results to other devices and this is a very precise navigation tracker.<\/p>\n The brains inside Watch GT 6 Pro<\/a> is the firm\u2019s own Harmony OS 6.0, which looks and feels familiar to previous versions of the software. You get the same basic-looking but versatile user interface with a swipe-based card interface alongside a quick settings panel and notification area. You also get an app drawer that can be viewed as a hex grid or a list. The revamped TruSense sensor and updated algorithms combine to deliver more accurate data.<\/p>\n The battery stamina is magnificent at three weeks (but this will depend on factors such as GPS usage, auto brightness, always on display) and recharging is with a proprietary magnetic puck charger. A full recharge at 10W speeds took close to 110n minutes.<\/p>\n Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro other features The GT 6 Pro <\/a>works with both iPhone and Android and comes with Bluetooth 6.0. There is an onboard microphone and speaker that allows you to make and take calls once your paired smartphone is within Bluetooth range.<\/p>\n The main downside is the lack of support for contactless payments, in Europe at least.
