Emmerdale <\/a>fans have rumbled who is working with villains Ray and Celia – and it’s someone close to home. The pair have been causing havoc around the village, involved in drug dealing and people trafficking.<\/a><\/p>\n Ray and Celia have now come for Marlon, Rhona and April after insisting she owes them a debt, leaving the whole family terrified. Whilst we know Celia’s story is coming to an end soon, there will no doubt be more twists and turns before it does.<\/p>\n “I knew it was finite, which I am very sad about, because I would like to stay forever, but it\u2019s such a strong arc,” Jaye Griffiths said of working on the show, “It\u2019s one of the nicest places I\u2019ve ever worked, and I\u2019ve done a little bit of work before!<\/p>\n “It is gentle and kind and professional and funny, and people care that it\u2019s good. People care that we tell the story properly. It\u2019s a joy to come to work. I\u2019m gushing now, aren\u2019t I?”<\/p>\n However, before the storyline does end, fans are convinced there could be a huge twist on the way. Jaye thinks it is unlikely Celia will spend time in prison for her crimes, and will rather float off to start again.<\/p>\n “I think you\u2019ll see annoyance. It won\u2019t be the first time that it\u2019s had to be dissolved and moved,” she said, “The idea that she would get caught is inconceivable. Inconceivable. No, she will move blame. She will throw anyone under the bus before herself. I mean, no, she\u2019s not going to prison! Get out of her way, is what I\u2019m saying!”<\/p>\n Fans though are convinced someone very close to the village could actually somehow be involved. One fan predicted that Caleb – who joined a few years ago as a mysterious villain – could somehow have a connection with the villainous duo.<\/p>\n One fan suggested on Reddit<\/a> : “I still believe that Caleb is working for them and that will be the twist,” with a second adding: “Just tell the whole village about Celia and Ray, job done, they can\u2019t take down the whole village.”<\/p>\n “This is totally what I don’t get. There are enough ruthless people who are prepared to go outside the law in the village that they could easily deal with Celia and Ray,” a third said of the storyline.<\/p>\n Other fans have begged for Cain to step in and support Marlon. In shock scenes yesterday, Ray caught up with Marlon and threatened him after Cain stepped in to save the day: “I do not appreciate threats from your inbred family! That quote I gave you is a limited offer. It will go up the longer I have to wait so if I were you, I would pay up and I would pay up now.”<\/p>\n Could Cain finally bring Celia and Ray down for good?<\/p>\n Like this story?
