Passengers onboard a Ryanair<\/a> flight to Dublin Airport were left shocked today after a mid-air altercation broke out between two men. A passenger on flight FR2972 from Kaunas in Lithuania claimed the dramatic row erupted halfway through the journey. At one point, one of the men allegedly “ripped the other’s shirt off during the struggle”.<\/p>\n Cabin crew quickly intervened and managed to prevent the situation from escalating further. However, the disturbance was serious enough that they called ahead for Garda assistance<\/a> before landing in Dublin shortly before 12.30pm, the Irish Mirror reports.<\/a> The eyewitness said: “We were held on the tarmac for approximately 20 minutes while gardai and Airport Police boarded the plane. The two men involved in the incident were removed.”<\/p>\n Ryanair confirmed the incident, with a spokesperson saying: “Crew on this flight from Kaunas to Dublin (11 Dec) called ahead for police assistance after a group of passengers became disruptive onboard.
