On Instagram<\/a>, Ross Duffer revealed a tiny bit more about the next drop<\/a> of Stranger Things season five<\/a> episodes coming to Netflix<\/a> this Christmas.<\/p>\n

\u201cChapters Five, Six and Seven: locked, mixed, scored, colored\u2026 Volume Two is DONE,\u201d he wrote, and revealed a video of their titles.<\/p>\n

Chapter Five, is titled \u201cShock Jock.\u201d It \u201cpicks up moments after the end of \u2018Sorcerer.\u2019 Frank Darabont is back, but he flexes very different muscles on this one than he did on \u2018Turnbow Trap\u2019\u2014it\u2019s far darker, and far scarier,\u201d\u00a0 Ross Duffer wrote. Darabont, a veteran director in the Stephen King universe, delivered one of the strongest episodes in Stranger Things 5\u2018s first batch.<\/p>\n

The Duffer Brothers\u2019 longtime collaborator, Shawn Levy, who is currently working on Star Wars: Starfighter, makes his franchise return with Chapter Six. It\u2019s called \u201cEscape from Camazotz,\u201d and Ross Duffer described it as \u201cthe biggest episode of the three\u2014and the performances make us cry every time we watch it.\u201d That\u2019s the kind of character work we expect as we draw closer to the last stand for Hawkins against the Upside Down.<\/p>\n

Then there\u2019s Chapter Seven, \u201cThe Bridge.\u201d The penultimate Stranger Things installment will be co-directed by the Duffers and Levy. \u201cDon\u2019t want to say too much, but aside from the finale, it\u2019s probably the most emotional chapter of the season. It\u2019s gonna be a long six-day wait for the finale\u2026\u201d he teased.\u00a0 He also added, \u201cRuntimes to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stranger Things season 5, volume one, is now streaming on Netflix. Volume Two will be released on December 25, and the series finale will take its bow on December 31.<\/p>\n
