{"id":188735,"date":"2025-12-12T23:12:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-12T23:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/188735\/"},"modified":"2025-12-12T23:12:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T23:12:11","slug":"accumulated-profits-at-tv-presenter-laura-whitmores-firm-hit-e4m-the-irish-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/188735\/","title":{"rendered":"Accumulated profits at TV presenter Laura Whitmore\u2019s firm hit \u20ac4m \u2013 The Irish Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Accumulated profits at the media firm owned by actor, author and TV presenter, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/laura-whitmore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/laura-whitmore\/\">Laura Whitmore<\/a> have this year climbed to \u20ac4 million (\u00a33.5 million).<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \"> Accounts show that Whitmore\u2019s Yer Wan Ltd has recorded post tax profits of \u00a3341,827 (\u20ac389,819) in the 12 months to the end of March 31st this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The post-tax profits for this year are a 63 per cent increase on the profits of \u00a3208,677 in the previous year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The profit for this year resulted in the company\u2019s accumulated profits rising from \u00a33.16 million to \u00a33.5 million (\u20ac3.99 million).<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \"> The company recorded post-tax profits of \u00a3386,746 in fiscal 2023 and \u00a3719,446 in  2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The  accounts show that the cash funds at the London registered Yer Wan Ltd increased by \u00a3338,408 from \u00a32.44 million to \u00a32.78 million this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The Co Wicklow native\u2019s career in the UK has continued to flourish &#8211; mainly on the stage &#8211; after Ms Whitmore decided to step back in 2022 from her presenting role for ITV ratings winner, Love Island that made her one of the most recognisable faces on UK television.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The TV personality &#8211;
