Fox has released the official trailer for \u201cFear Factor: The Next Chapter,\u201d a reboot of the reality competition series hosted by \u201cJackass\u201d star Johnny Knoxville.<\/p>\n

In this version, a group of strangers are dropped into a remote location to\u00a0live together and face mind-blowing stunts, harrowing challenges, and a twisted game of social strategy where trust is fleeting \u2014 and fear is a weapon.<\/p>\n

Only one contestant conquers all their fears and walks away with the grand prize: $200,000.<\/p>\n

As one player says in the trailer, \u201cIt\u2019s \u2018Fear Factor\u2019 on steroids.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nZach, 33, an unemployed coal miner.<\/p>\n

Your greatest fears return with a new twist on Wednesday, January 14, at 9pm on Fox and streaming on Hulu.<\/p>\n

Joe Rogan hosted \u201cFear Factor\u201d during its original run on NBC from 2001-2006 and again for its revival in 2011-2012.
