Funeral details have been announced for Mary Holt, the woman who died in a petrol bomb attack in Co Offaly last week.<\/p>\n
Ms Holt (60) and her grand-nephew Tadgh Farrell (4) died from their injuries after an attack at a house in Edenderry on the night of Saturday, December 6.<\/p>\n
She will lie in repose at Larkin\u2019s Funeral Home in Edenderry from 4pm to 7pm on Saturday. A funeral cortege will depart from the funeral home on Sunday and will stop at her \u201cbeloved\u201d workplace, Ofalia House, as a mark of respect.<\/p>\n
A funeral mass for Ms Holt will be held at St Mary\u2019s Church in Edenderry at 1pm on Sunday, followed by burial in St Mary\u2019s Cemetery.<\/p>\n
“Mary\u2019s tragic passing has left her family, friends and work colleagues in Ofalia House devastated and heartbroken,\u201d a death notice for Ms Holt reads.<\/p>\n
“She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her loving family.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ms Holt is survived by her siblings Michael, Johnny, Margaret, Christy, Declan, Pauline and Brendan, other relatives and her circle of friends.<\/p>\n
The funeral mass for Tadgh was held in St Mary\u2019s Church on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Words written by his mother Shannon were read at the funeral by Fr Gregory Corcoran. She wrote that her son had \u201ca laugh that made the heaviest days feel lighter\u201d, taught her what \u201ctrue joy really looks like\u201d and what \u201ctrue love really feels like\u201d.<\/p>\n
Prayers were said for Pauline, Tadgh\u2019s grandmother and Ms Holt\u2019s sister, who continues to recover from injuries she sustained in the attack.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Mary Holt.
