\n\tAlthough Jack Nicholson<\/a> has enjoyed a 15-year hiatus from the big screen, frequent collaborator James L. Brooks<\/a> anticipates a return for the actor.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe As Good As It Gets co-writer\/director recently teased that the 3x Oscar-winning \u201cgreatest actor of the generation\u201d is preparing to make an onscreen comeback, following a cameo<\/a> in the Studio 8H audience of SNL50: The Anniversary Special back in February.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOh, I don\u2019t think he stopped,\u201d Brooks told People<\/a>. \u201cI mean, he\u2019s gotten scripts, he\u2019s reading them, and I\u2019m sure we\u2019ll be seeing them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNicholson\u2019s last movie role was in Brooks\u2019 2010 romantic-comedy How Do You Know, co-starring Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe pair previously collaborated on the films Terms of Endearment (1983), Broadcast News (1987) and As Good As It Gets (1997), earning Nichols two Oscars, and three for Brooks.<\/p>\n

\n\tBrooks makes his directorial comeback with Ella McCay, now playing in theaters, also his first film since How Do You Know.<\/p>\n
