The shop where the \u20ac17 million jackpot winning EuroMillions ticket was sold has been revealed, with the Co Cavan winner yet to come forward.<\/p>\n
The Lidl store on the Athlone Road in Creighan, just outside Cavan town, sold the winning ticket on the day of the draw, last Friday.<\/p>\n
The winning numbers in Friday night\u2019s draw were 7, 25, 30, 37 and 41, with the lucky stars 5 and 11.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re absolutely thrilled to have sold the winning ticket to a Lidl customer, and just before Christmas too,\u201d Lidl Ireland\u2019s corporate affairs director Eimear O\u2019Sullivan said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re urging any Lidl customers who shopped with us on Friday to be sure to check their tickets as they could be in store for a very happy Christmas this year.\u201d<\/p>\n
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr has called on anybody who bought their EuroMillions ticket at the store on Friday to check their tickets.<\/p>\n
\u201cImagine realising that you have a ticket worth \u20ac17 million in your possession. That\u2019s sure to be the reality of a EuroMillions player in Cavan who has now taken the title of the 19th Irish EuroMillions jackpot winner,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs we have yet to hear from our latest jackpot winner, we are appealing to all of our EuroMillions players who may have purchased their tickets for the Friday, December 12 draw at the Lidl store in Creighan on the Athlone Road to carefully check their tickets today as one person now has a ticket worth a massive \u20ac17 million.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe winner should stay calm and sign the back of their ticket. They should make contact with our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to visit Lottery headquarters to collect their life-changing prize.\u201d<\/p>\n
There have been two big EuroMillions wins in Ireland this year, including the Cork family syndicate who won a massive \u20ac250 million prize in June.<\/p>\n
