For whatever reason, Amazon decided that they should premiere Fallout season 2 a day early<\/a>, which would be today, Tuesday, December 16, hitting the streaming service tonight at 6 PM PT\/9 PM ET. <\/p>\n This is not a double or triple-episode premiere as we sometimes see with Amazon releases. And it is definitely not a binge drop the way season 1 was, before Amazon realized what a big success the show would be. But does this last-minute change shift the entire schedule of Fallout season 2? No, here\u2019s the episode schedule after this point, which will not move to Tuesdays:<\/p>\n The Fallout Season 2 Episode Release ScheduleEpisode 1 – Tuesday, Dec 16th, 2025Episode 2 – Wednesday, Dec 24th, 2025Episode 3 – Wednesday, Dec 31st, 2025Episode 4 – Wednesday, Jan 7th 2026Episode 5 – Wednesday, Jan 14th, 2026Episode 6 – Wednesday, Jan 21st, 2026Episode 7 – Wednesday, Jan 28th, 2026Episode 8 – Wednesday, Feb 4th, 2026<\/p>\n Though it is almost Tuesday, given that these episodes each go live at 12 AM PT, 3 AM ET, you can watch them whenever over the course of the next day. I doubt many people are staying up to watch Fallout episodes until 4 AM, no matter how big a fan they may be.<\/p>\n Fallout season 2 is heading to Las Vegas, now called New Vegas, a famed location from the video game series that it has not revisited since 2010 in Obsidian\u2019s game, an \u201cin-between\u201d release for the series in between Bethesda\u2019s larger numbered offerings. But it\u2019s very much a fan-favorite.<\/p>\n We will meet factions from that game, and likely a few major game characters. The Ghoul and Lucy are looking for family, and Ella Purnell has recently shot down the idea that the two will end up in any sort of romantic relationship (\u201cyou guys need therapy,\u201d she said). <\/p>\n Fallout was a huge hit for Amazon, both in terms of viewership and critical and audience acclaim. Season 1 scored a 96% from critics and a 93% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>, the latter number extremely impressive given how critical fans\/game-players are of adaptations like this. Fallout is, in fact, the highest-scored live-action game adaptation ever, beating the likes of The Last of Us on HBO (62%), Twisted Metal on Peacock (89%) and of course, Halo on Paramount Plus\/Netflix (61%). The fact is, there haven\u2019t been all that many of these, but there are a huge number of live-action series ahead including, Mass Effect, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Assassin\u2019s Creed and Tomb Raider. Many of these have had their fortunes boosted by the success of a show like Fallout.
