{"id":195063,"date":"2025-12-16T17:46:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T17:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/195063\/"},"modified":"2025-12-16T17:46:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-16T17:46:08","slug":"garda-ombudsman-investigates-death-of-man-in-dublins-temple-bar-the-irish-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/195063\/","title":{"rendered":"Garda ombudsman investigates death of man in Dublin\u2019s Temple Bar \u2013 The Irish Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/fiosru\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/fiosru\/\">Fiosr\u00fa<\/a>, the Office of the Police Ombudsman, is investigating the death of a man in Dublin\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/temple-bar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/temple-bar\/\">Temple Bar<\/a> at the weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The incident was referred to the ombudsman by the Garda as the man had been in contact with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/an-garda-siochana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/an-garda-siochana\">garda\u00ed<\/a> before his death. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">A member of Fiosr\u00fa\u2019s team of investigators attended the scene.
