Productions released the first footage from director Aaron Burns\u2019 feature that hits theaters Nov. 6, 2026. The cast includes Apa as Stewart, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/jason-alexander\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jason-alexander_1\" data-tag=\"jason-alexander\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jason Alexander<\/a> as Louis B. Mayer, Max Casella as Frank Capra, Jen Lilley as Gloria Stewart, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/christopher-mcdonald\/\" id=\"auto-tag_christopher-mcdonald_1\" data-tag=\"christopher-mcdonald\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Christopher McDonald<\/a> as Lionel Barrymore, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/sarah-drew\/\" id=\"auto-tag_sarah-drew_1\" data-tag=\"sarah-drew\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sarah Drew<\/a> as gossip columnist Hedda Hopper. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/rob-riggle\/\" id=\"auto-tag_rob-riggle_1\" data-tag=\"rob-riggle\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rob Riggle<\/a>, Neal McDonough and Julian Works round out the cast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tJimmy is set to focus on the life and work of Stewart, including his Oscar-winning performance in A Philadelphia Story, his stint in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and his career-defining role in It\u2019s a Wonderful Life. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cDon\u2019t I have the right to serve my country just like anyone else does?\u201d Apa asks in the trailer. This leads Riggle to respond, \u201cAmerica can\u2019t afford to lose Jimmy Stewart.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tLater in the footage, Apa says, \u201cSomeday, I\u2019d like to be able to look at myself in the mirror and see a good man looking back at me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tBurns helmed the film from a script by Justin Strawhand.
