Rostov\u2019s governor Yury Slyusar said one person died, six people were injured and two private houses caught fire in the attack.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"A fire is visible in the distance, with a smoke plume\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/4cb93e54-43dd-40fe-b59a-af9e5d90e498.jpg.webp.webp\"  width=\"960\" height=\"540\" class=\"ssrcss-11yxrdo-Image edrdn950\"\/>Image source, Telegram<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The tower block and nearby play area were visible in satellite images of Bataysk allowing us to confirm the position the photo was taken and the general location of the blaze.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Ukrainian drones attacked Taganrog and Rostov-On-Don city itself too, according to Slyusar. We\u2019ve verified video of emergency services using a spotlight to assess damage to an apartment block in the west of Rostov city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Slyusar said last night\u2019s attack also resulted in a fire on a cargo ship at Rostov port, killing two crew members and injuring three others.
