Neon is hitting the road with It Ends, acquiring the genre-bending horror movie for a theatrical release in 2026.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s particularly interesting about this news is that you can watch It Ends right now via Letterboxd Video Store<\/a>, the digital film rental platform that\u00a0launched last week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Priced at $19.99, the 48-hour rental is available until January 9.<\/p>\n

Writer-director Alex Ullom<\/a> makes his feature debut on the indie film, leading a crew made up entirely of Gen Z-ers.<\/p>\n

It follows a group of recent grads who head out on a late night drive for grub, hoping to enjoy one final hangout before their paths diverge. Instead, they accidentally turn onto a never-ending, two-lane hellscape surrounded by untold horrors and cosmic forces beyond their understanding.<\/p>\n

Cramped together inside a Jeep Cherokee and with the miles stretching infinitely ahead, they face a choice: embrace their new existence or fight to escape it.<\/p>\n

Mitchell Cole, Akira Jackson, Noah Toth, and\u00a0Phinehas Yoon star.<\/p>\n

It Ends premiered at SXSW earlier this year and went on to win Best First Feature at the Fantasia International Film Festival.<\/p>\n

Meagan Navarro wrote in her review<\/a>, \u201cIt Ends captures a universal fear, that anxiety-inducing transition into full-blown adulthood where we\u2019re all expected to become responsible contributors to society. It\u2019s a lot of pressure with no clear guide. As such, it runs through every emotion that comes with that journey.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ullom will next helm 4 X 4: The Event<\/a>, which is described as Battle Royale meets Saw meets Climax.<\/p>\n
