A man was rushed to hospital for treatment following an alleged attack in north Dublin<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n Garda\u00ed<\/a> and emergency services were called to the scene after receiving a report of an alleged assault which occurred at the pedestrian bridge at Finglas<\/a> Bypass in Dublin 11 at approximately 6.30pm yesterday evening.<\/p>\n The victim, a man aged in his 20s, was treated at the scene before neog taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n The scene of the incident was preserved, and a technical examination has since been carried out by the Divisional Scenes of Crime Unit.<\/p>\n Garda\u00ed have launched an investigation into the alleged assault and are appealing for witnesses to contact them.<\/p>\n A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: “Garda\u00ed and emergency services responded to a reported assault at the pedestrian bridge at Finglas Bypass in Dublin 11 that occurred at approximately 6:30pm on Friday 19th December 2025.<\/p>\n “A male in his 20s was conveyed to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n “A technical examination has since been conducted by the Divisional Scenes of Crime Unit.<\/p>\n “Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them.<\/p>\n “Any road users who were travelling on the Finglas Bypass \/ North Road between 6:00pm and 6:45pm on Friday 19th December 2025 and who may have video footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating Garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n “Anyone with any information is asked to contact Finglas Garda Station on 01 666 7500, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.”<\/p>\n The garda spokesperson said that investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n For more of the latest breaking news from the Irish Mirror check out our homepage by clicking here<\/a>.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/0_OTOOLE-HEALY.jpg\")
