With the 2026 calendar on all streamers filling up with binge-worthy series, Apple TV is keeping up with wall-to-wall content. From new series to returning favorites, 2026 is looking bright for the streamer.<\/p>\n

In the new year, many hit series will be coming back for a second season, including Hijack<\/a> and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters<\/a>. When it comes to new additions, Apple TV will welcome Anya Taylor-Joy<\/a> and Elle Fanning<\/a> to the family. And yes, the highly anticipated return of Ted Lasso is coming sooner than you think! Here are 10 shows to get excited for.<\/p>\n

‘The Last Thing He Told Me’<\/p>\n

Based on the novel by Laura Dave, The Last Thing He Told Me is back for its second season, beginning on February 20. The series follows Jennifer Garner<\/a> as Hannah Hall, who forms an unexpected relationship with her stepdaughter, Bailey (Angourie Rice), while searching for her husband, who recently disappeared. For Season 2, when Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau<\/a>) shows up after five years on the run, Hannah and Bailey find themselves in a race to figure out how to reunite their family before the past catches up to them.<\/p>\n

Though originally intended to be a limited series, Apple TV renewed the Garner-led series in 2024<\/a>. The new season will feature a mix of returning characters and new faces. David Morse<\/a> is set to reprise his role as Nicholas Bell, a big reveal and a key piece of the puzzle in the show\u2019s plot. Also returning cast are Augusto Aguilera, Josh Hamilton, Nick Hargrove, and Michael Hyatt. Newcomers include Judy Greer, Rita Wilson, Michael Galante, John Noble, and Luke Kirby. One key name seemingly missing from the cast is Aisha Tyler, who played Hannah\u2019s best friend, Jules Nichols.<\/p>\n

After a gripping debut, Drops of God<\/a> is set to return to Apple TV. Set in the high-stakes world of gastronomy and fine wines, the series is inspired by the manga series of the same name written by Tadashi Agi and illustrated by Shu Okimoto. Starring Fleur Geffrier and Tomohisa Yamashita, Drops of God centers on the competition for inheritance of an estate and its vast wine collection between an heiress and a star student of a well-known enologist who died. For Season 2, Camille and Issei are thrust into their most perilous challenge yet: to uncover the origin of the world\u2019s greatest wine, a mystery so profound that even their legendary father, Alexandre L\u00e9ger (Stanley Weber), could not solve it. What begins as a pursuit of legacy becomes a search for truth that spans continents and centuries, unearthing forgotten histories, hidden rivalries, and secrets buried for generations. As the search pushes them to the edges of the world and to the darkest corners of themselves, Camille and Issei must decide how much they are willing to sacrifice.<\/p>\n

With a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score<\/a>, expectations are high for another standout season. Created by Quoc Dang Tran, the multilingual French-Japanese drama has remained an underrated hit, earning the International Emmy Award for Best Drama Series in 2024. The second season has a release date set for January 21 and will air weekly until March 11.<\/p>\n

If there is one actor who has become a television legend, it’s Jon Hamm<\/a>. Since his rise to prominence on Mad Men, Hamm has found himself working around the clock. Perhaps his biggest leading role since the AMC hit is Your Friends & Neighbors<\/a>. Portraying Andrew “Coop” Cooper, Your Friends & Neighbors follows a recently divorced hedge fund manager who becomes unemployed. To maintain his lifestyle and his family’s standard of living, he uses criminal methods. Stealing from his neighbors\u2019 homes in the exceedingly affluent Westmont Village, Coop discovers that the secrets and affairs hidden behind those wealthy facades might be more dangerous than he ever imagined.<\/p>\n

Returning on April 3, Season 2 sees Coop as he doubles down on his life as an unlikely suburban thief, until the arrival of a new neighbor threatens to expose his secrets and place his family at risk. The new neighbor will be played by James Marsden, who will join the stellar cast. Returning for the second season are Amanda Peet<\/a>, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt, and Donovan Colan. After a monster of a success, Legendary Television is bringing more adventures to the small screen. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters continues the action from the 2014 film Godzilla<\/a>. After half-siblings Cate and Kentaro (Anna Sawai and Ren Watabe) reunite to uncover their family\u2019s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch, clues lead them down the rabbit hole to Army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell<\/a> and Wyatt Russell<\/a>). For Season 2, the fate of Monarch \u2014 and the world \u2014 hangs in the balance.<\/p>\n

The dramatic saga returns as buried secrets that reunite our heroes and villains on Kong\u2019s Skull Island<\/a>, and a new, mysterious village where a mythical Titan rises from the sea. If there is one series not to watch while in flight, it’s Hijack. The high-octane thriller starring Idris Elba<\/a> is back for more action, this time on the ground. In the instantly enthralling first season, Elba played Sam Nelson, a talented business negotiator who was forced to use his skills to broker a peaceful end to a hijacking of a seven-hour flight from Dubai to London. In the thrilling second season, a Berlin underground train and its commuters are taken hostage, while, above ground, authorities scramble to save hundreds of lives. Sam is at the heart of the crisis on board, where one wrong decision could spell disaster.<\/p>\n

For its second season<\/a>, Elba will be rejoined by Christine Adams as Marsha Smith-Nelson, Sam’s estranged wife; Max Beesley as DI Daniel O’Farrel, Masha’s current boyfriend; and Archie Panjabi<\/a> as DCI Zahra Gahfoor, O’Farrel’s former partner and member of SO15. Before we even reach the already renewed fourth season, Tehran<\/a> returns for Season 3 with a new mission and a new major cast member<\/a>. In Moshe Zonder’s thrilling spy drama, Niv Sultan stars as Tamar Rabinyan, a young Israeli Mossad agent of Iranian Jewish descent, whose first mission found her in her place of birth, Tehran. Following the events of Season 2, Tamar, who had gone rogue, is reeling from the loss of her closest allies. Now, Tamar must find a way to reinvent herself and win back the Mossad\u2019s support if she is to survive in Season 3.<\/p>\n

The second season saw Glenn Close<\/a> join the cast as Marjan Montazami. Now, for Season 3, it’s Hugh Laurie<\/a>. The former House star will play South African nuclear inspector Eric Peterson. Other new cast members this season include Sasson Gabai, Phoenix Raei, and Bahar Pars. Meanwhile, they join returning stars Shaun Toub and Shila Ommi. The new season will begin on February 27, and Season 4 is currently in production. <\/p>\n

No show explores grief and loss more poignantly and heartfully than Shrinking<\/a>. The hit Apple TV series is returning for its third season beginning January 28. The ensemble series, led by Jason Segel<\/a>, follows Jimmy Laird, a grieving therapist who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people\u2019s lives… including his own. While it’s high time for Jimmy’s life to move forward, he won’t be the only one enduring life’s many tumultuous waves. For Season 3, Harrison Ford<\/a>‘s Dr. Paul Rhoades will see his struggle with Parkinson’s disease get much worse. According to co-creator Bill Lawrence, the new season will balance the characters’ heavier moments while maintaining a sense of hope. “The important thing to me, especially with having Parkinson’s in and around my family, is making sure that it still feels optimistic and hopeful, even though everybody out there is usually a couple degrees separated from someone who’s dealing with some real tricky health stuff,” Lawrence told TV Line.<\/a><\/p>\n

The new season is bringing in two major stars<\/a>, Jeff Daniels and activist Michael J. Fox. Fox will not be playing himself but a “full-fledged character.” Additionally, Season 3 guest stars Brett Goldstein, Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick, and Cobie Smulders are set to return as well. The main cast set to return includes Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley. According to Lawrence, their stories are about to pick up in the wonderful found family that link back to the action of Season 2, including Gaby (Williams) and Derrick No. 2’s (Wayans Jr.) relationship blossoming, Sean (Tennie) heading toward some personal friction himself after he comes face-to-face with someone from his past, and Liz (Miller) helping Brian (Urie) and Charlie (Devin Kawaoka) out with their newborn.<\/p>\n

‘Ted Lasso’<\/p>\n

All we had to do was believe that Ted Lasso<\/a> would return for another season. And believe we did! Back in March, the global hit series was officially renewed for its fourth season<\/a>. And returning to the pitch officially will be Jason Sudeikis<\/a>, reprising his award-winning role as the celebrated titular coach. \u201cAs we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to \u2018look before we leap,\u2019\u201d said Sudeikis in the official press release, \u201cin season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it\u2019s exactly where they\u2019re meant to be.\u201d For the upcoming season, Coach Lasso will be taking on a women’s team<\/a>. While it might be his biggest challenge yet, Ted and the entire crew will be taking chances they never thought they would.<\/p>\n

In addition to the action in Richmond, filming for Season 4 also took place in Kansas City, Missouri, the hometown of both Sudeikis and Ted Lasso. As far as the core cast is concerned, fans should be overjoyed to learn that Season 4 will see the return of Hannah Waddingham<\/a> as AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton; Brett Goldstein as player turned assistant coach Roy Kent; Jeremy Swift as Rebecca\u2019s right-hand man at the club, Leslie Higgins; Juno Temple as perpetual sunshine Keeley Jones, and Brendan Hunt as Ted’s best friend, confidant, and assistant Coach Beard. Ted Lasso will feature seven new actors: Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely, who will play Ted\u2019s son, Henry, taking over the role from Gus Turner. At the time of publication, there is no official return date set for Season 4. Until then, continue to believe that this season will be the best one yet!<\/a><\/p>\n

Based on the book by Marissa Stapley, Lucky will see the return of Anya Taylor-Joy on the small screen and the streamer. Lucky centers on a young woman named Lucky, who left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago, but must now embrace her darker, criminal side one final time in a desperate attempt to escape her past. In addition to the former The Queen’s Gambit star, the limited series will feature Drew Starkey as Carl, Lucky’s husband, Annette Bening<\/a> as Priscilla, a dangerous mob leader, Timothy Olyphant<\/a> as John, Lucky’s father, and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor as Agent Billie Rand.<\/p>\n

Taylor-Joy appeared in an Apple TV movie, The Gorge, earlier this year, alongside Miles Teller. The limited series will be executive produced by Reese Witherspoon, with Jonathan Tropper, who also created Your Friends & Neighbors, and Cassie Pappas serving as co-showrunners. Filming on the series wrapped in July, and an Instagram post celebrated the milestone<\/a>.<\/p>\n

‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’<\/p>\n

Even with some extraordinary returning titles coming in 2026, the most anticipated new series is Margo’s Got Money Troubles from multi-Emmy Award winner David E. Kelley<\/a>, based on Rufi Thorpe\u2019s bestselling novel. The bold, heartwarming, and comedic family drama follows recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Elle Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress (Michelle Pfeiffer<\/a>) and ex-pro wrestler (Nick Offerman<\/a>). Margo is forced to make her way with a new baby after becoming pregnant in a brief affair with her English teacher, Mark (Michael Angarano), a mounting pile of bills, and a dwindling number of ways to pay them. Margo faces eviction if she can\u2019t find a way to pay rent, but when her estranged father shows up and asks to move in with her, she agrees for the childcare he can provide. She then starts an OnlyFans account to experiment and pay the bills, incorporating some of her father\u2019s advice from the world of wrestling.<\/p>\n

Margo’s Got Money Troubles is not a story about playing it safe. The highly anticipated series also stars Nicole Kidman<\/a>, Thaddea Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Rico Nasty, Michael Work\u00e8y\u00e8, and Lindsey Normington. The Apple Original is set to release the first three episodes on April 15, with new episodes every Wednesday until May 20.<\/p>\n
