There will be clear skies for Santa <\/a>and his reindeer tonight as the country is set for a chilly but dry and bright Christmas Day.<\/a><\/p>\n While temperatures won\u2019t be cold enough for a white Christmas<\/a>, tomorrow will be noticeably cooler than recent days with highs of 4C to 7C. Those venturing outside for the festivities will need to wrap up as Met \u00c9ireann says it will feel even colder than this, especially along eastern and southern coasts.<\/p>\n But it\u2019s set to be a bright winter day with sunny spells for most of the country. While it will be cloudier at times near eastern and southern coasts, forecasts indicate it will be a largely dry day across the island.<\/p>\n Christmas <\/a>night will be bitter, with lowest temperatures of -3C to 2C, with frost and icy patches forming on untreated surfaces. However, it will be slightly warmer near the east coast with lowest temperatures of 3C to 6C.<\/p>\n Tonight will also be cold, with lowest temperatures of -2C to 2C, but conditions are perfect for the big man to deliver toys to children across the country.<\/p>\n
