Roz Purcell<\/a> is spending Christmas in Mexico this year \u2013 as the star admits she hasn\u2019t spent the festive season at home in Ireland for years.<\/p>\n

The 2FM presenter<\/a> loves to travel and explore new countries, spurred by her love of nature and hiking.<\/p>\n

And while most people love nothing more than spending Christmas<\/a> curled up on the sofa at home with their family, Roz uses it as an opportunity to travel and try new experiences.<\/p>\n

This is nothing new for the social media personality and her husband-to-be, Zach Desmond.<\/p>\n

She previously explained that she has travelled for Christmas each year since she was 24 because it is only the time she can really get away without any calls or emails, knowing that everyone else is off too.<\/p>\n

This year, Roz and Zach are off to Mexico and Central America.<\/p>\n

\u201cI go away every Christmas. I have not spent a Christmas in Ireland in a long time,\u201d she told RSVP Live.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m actually going to Mexico and then I\u2019m going to do some hiking in Central America.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I\u2019m in Mexico, we\u2019re going to go see Bad Bunny before his Super Bowl performance. We\u2019re massive fans, so we\u2019re excited.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roz and Zach will get married next year, and are opting for a low-key wedding<\/a> rather than an extravagant celebration.<\/p>\n

She explained: \u201cZach and I are having a very small wedding, it will probably just be a dinner.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoth of our lives are chaotic, we probably won\u2019t be going for a big band or party afterwards.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never really thought about a wedding growing up or what I want, so I\u2019m still trying to figure that out. Each week it kind of changes when I speak to someone new about the wedding or getting married.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut one thing Zach and I agreed on was that we both wanted a really small wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted it in Ireland so people wouldn\u2019t feel like they had to fly to another country, or take up too much of their holiday time, to spend the day with us and celebrate.<\/p>\n
