Princess Charlotte looked so grown up and poised while joining Kate Middleton for a surprise public appearance in a video shared on December 24.<\/p>\n

The 10-year-old performed a duet with Kate for her “Together at Christmas” service, which was filmed on December 5.<\/p>\n

Kate previously performed at her annual carol concert back in 2021.<\/p>\n

Princess Charlotte was Kate Middleton\u2019s mini-me<\/a> as the mom-daughter pair showed off one of their shared hobbies: Playing piano. After teasing a surprise duet partner on Tuesday<\/a>, Kate revealed that her 10-year-old daughter was joining her for a special cameo at her \u201cTogether at Christmas\u201d carol concert<\/a>\u2014and Charlotte looked so grown up as she made her holiday performance debut at the annual Westminster Abbey event.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s no secret Kate is a talented piano player, tickling the ivories during her inaugural \u201cTogether at Christmas\u201d celebration in 2021 alongside Tom Walker for a duet of \u201cFor Those Who Can\u2019t Be Here,\u201d as well as in 2023 in a pre-recorded show for the Eurovision Song Contest. And at this year\u2019s carol concert<\/a>, which was filmed on December 5 and aired on Christmas Eve, the Princess of Wales got back behind the piano with her daughter by her side.<\/p>\n

In a new video shared on December 24 on Kate and Prince William\u2019s Instagram account, Charlotte showed she was following in her mom\u2019s musical footsteps as she played Holm Sound Erland Cooper during a special recital opening this year\u2019s \u201cTogether at Christmas.\u201d The young royal paid homage to her late grandmother Princess Diana<\/a>, pairing a navy blue velvet dress with a white lace collar, navy blue tights, and patent leather flats. She wore her hair styled half up with a large black bow\u2014a nod to one of her mom\u2019s favorite accessories.<\/p>\n

In the video of the public performance, the poised burgeoning pianist looked like stage fright was the furthest thing from her mind, smiling and looking at her mom as they played together. Kate first hinted at a potential appearance from Charlotte on Tuesday, sharing a video clip of her hands with her sapphire and diamond engagement ring playing the piano alongside a set of children\u2019s hands. And judging from how well their duet went, it looks like this won\u2019t be the last time the mom-daughter pair perform together.<\/p>\n
