Firefighters have rescued a man and a woman from two separate early morning fires.<\/p>\n

Shortly after 2am emergency services were called to reports of a fire at a flat in the Beechmount Village area of Strabane, Co Tyrone.<\/p>\n

Three fire appliances from the Newtownstewart and Strabane fire stations attended the incident.<\/p>\n

Firefighters in breathing apparatus rescued a woman from the property before providing first aid at the scene.<\/p>\n

The Belfast Telegraph understands the woman was taken to hospital for further treatment.<\/p>\n

A short time later, firefighters were called to reports of a second flat fire, this time in Co Antrim.<\/p>\n

Three fire appliances from the Ballymena and Antrim fire stations raced to the Drumtara area of Ballymena at around 5am.<\/p>\n
