The film is urban-centric in its appeal, and that is reflected in the opening. Also, it arrives in the romantic-comedy space, a genre that has been finding it difficult to deliver big numbers in today\u2019s market due to limited mass traction unless supported by exceptional buzz or a breakout word-of-mouth.<\/p>\n
With Dhurandhar and Avatar \u2013 Fire And Ash continuing to do well, the audience and screens were already split, which was always going to hit the business of this release. Adding to that are showcasing concerns as well, with exhibitors reportedly unwilling to allocate prime shows, leading to fewer high-value slots across several properties.<\/p>\n

The immediate test now is tomorrow, which is a working day, and hence it needs to be seen how the audience responds post the first-day curiosity factor.
