Towards this, the company recently beefed up its financial muscle with a $50 million fresh fund raise from new strategic and financial investors as well as from existing investors.\u00a0Initially floated as a space surveillance and intelligence player,\u00a0Digantara\u00a0Industries\u00a0closed its recent Series B fund raise from\u00a0360 ONE Asset, SBI Investments Co Japan, and Ronnie\u00a0Screwvala\u00a0and existing investors\u00a0Peak XV\u00a0Partners\u00a0and\u00a0Kalaari\u00a0Capital.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Digantara\u00a0Industries\u00a0commissioned on 8th March the world\u2019s first commercial\u00a0space based\u00a0space surveillance satellite SCOT (Space Camera for Object Tracking). The satellite was launched on\u00a014th January\u00a02025 aboard SpaceX\u2019s Transporter-12 mission.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In the US,\u00a0Digantara\u00a0Industries\u00a0has opened an office in the state of Colorado eyeing\u00a0defence\u00a0contracts and targeting a top line of about $25-$30 million over the next two years. Industry estimates put the global space surveillance and intelligence or space situational awareness market at about\u00a0$60 billion.\u00a0<\/p>\n
