Use the comment button on the bottom left to have your say <\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"40\" height=\"40\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/mail.png\" alt=\"mail icon\"\/>Join our newsletter for news &amp; smart analysis.  <\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/club\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liverpool<\/a> still have a slim chance, but also have a few other chances of silverware, meaning that dipping into the transfer market might be essential. <\/p>\n<p>If they are to do that, though, they will need to change a worrying trend that has occurred over the last three winter windows, which is quite eye-opening as to how little they have spent.<\/p>\n<p>January 2025 = \u00a30<\/p>\n<p>At the start of this year, Liverpool were firmly in a title race, with the Reds sitting pretty at the top of the tree.<\/p>\n<p>This meant that they did not feel the need to make any signings during this time, even if fans thought otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool did not even sell many players either, with only Marcelo Pitaluga and Tom Hill leaving on permanent transfers, making it a very quiet January indeed.<\/p>\n<p>January 2024 = \u00a30<\/p>\n<p>There is a pattern forming here, isn\u2019t there?
