{"id":212451,"date":"2025-12-26T20:52:13","date_gmt":"2025-12-26T20:52:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/212451\/"},"modified":"2025-12-26T20:52:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-26T20:52:13","slug":"studying-physics-in-microgravity-nasa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/212451\/","title":{"rendered":"Studying Physics in Microgravity &#8211; NASA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In this Oct. 20, 2025, photo, tiny ball bearings surround a larger central bearing during the Fluid Particles experiment, conducted inside the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/glenn\/glenn-expertise-space-exploration\/physical-sciences-program\/science-facilities-on-the-iss\/microgravity-science-glovebox-msg\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Microgravity Science Glovebox<\/a> (MSG) aboard the International Space Station\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/international-space-station\/destiny-laboratory-module\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Destiny laboratory module<\/a>. A bulk container installed in the MSG, filled with viscous fluid and embedded particles, is subjected to oscillating frequencies to observe how the particles cluster and form larger structures in microgravity. Insights from this research may advance fire suppression, lunar dust mitigation, and plant growth in space.
