Three women have been stabbed in Paris, according to the capital’s prosecutor’s office.<\/p>\n
French police detained a man suspected of carrying out the attacks in three different stations of the Paris Metro on Friday evening.<\/p>\n
The three women were \u200cstabbed at Republique, Arts \u200cet Metiers and Opera stations at around \u200b4pm local time.<\/p>\n
They were given medical attention by firefighters and sustained only minor injuries, two of them to their backs and thighs, according to Le Parisien.<\/p>\n
“The young woman was injured in the thigh,” a witness told the newspaper. She was at the Republique station at the time of the attack.<\/p>\n
“There was quite a lot of blood; it was a pretty deep cut.”<\/p>\n
The prosecutor’s office said their wounds were not life-threatening.<\/p>\n
