Passengers at Aberdeen International Airport had their travel plans disrupted after a tyre blew out on a plane due to leave for Dublin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Loganair flight on Friday<\/a> was cancelled and fire crews attended as a precaution.<\/p>\n

Passengers were taken off the aircraft and returned to the terminal.<\/p>\n

A Loganair spokesperson said: “We can confirm our flight from Aberdeen to Dublin experienced a technical problem on departure.<\/p>\n

“As a precaution, the passengers were disembarked safely and returned to the terminal, where they were taken into the care of our ground teams.<\/p>\n

“The aircraft will now be taken to our hangar for further inspection.<\/p>\n

“Safety is always our primary concern, and we thank the crew and the airport for their assistance.”<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Aberdeen International Airport said two flights were diverted after the issue with the Loganair aircraft, but operations have since returned to normal.<\/p>\n
