Emmerdale’s Kev Townsend will be given a final ultimatum by Nicola over revealing his true relationship to Lewis in upcoming scenes.

After escaping from being held captive by John Sugden as part of a masterplan against Robert and Aaron, Kev arrives at the caf\u00e9 just as Lewis heads off to put away Christmas decorations he’s been helping Nicola to box up. <\/p>\n

Nicola, feeling protective of Lewis, becomes furious with Kev and gives him an ultimatum. To stay in the village, he must reveal he is Lewis’ father, or he can choose to keep their true relationship a secret and leave forever. <\/p>\n

“Nicola only wants the best for Lewis and she’d hate to see him messed around by Kev,” our Emmerdale source explains. “Last time Kev was around, Nicola warned him to keep quiet – but she’s now giving him a chance to finally be honest with Lewis.<\/p>\n

“Of course, Lewis is an adult who can make his own choices, so it remains to be seen how he’d feel about Nicola meddling in his life like this!”

What will Kev decide as he’s faced with this ultimatum, and how would Lewis react if the truth was revealed? It also remains to be seen what the potential fallout could be whichever outcome Kev chooses. <\/p>\n

Bradley Riches, who plays Lewis, told Inside Soap’s Soap Scoop podcast<\/a> that he’d like to see the relationship between the two characters develop, as he’s enjoyed their scenes so far: “I think the scenes with Lewis and Kev were really special as well. With Kev, there is obviously a neurodivergency there. I think that’s where Lewis and Kev feel seen because they both feel so different<\/a> within the village, but they both see each other for their differences, which is really cool.<\/p>\n

“I think that’d be such a nice father and son bond over time.”<\/p>\n
