In disbelief. Confused and in shock. We are exhausted and shaken after a day filled with trauma and heartbreak,\u201d Carlton added.<\/p>\n<p>Influencer Melissa Mae Carlton\u2019s youngest daughter, Molly, died on Christmas Day. Pictured: Molly Melissa Mae Carlton\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p>Carlton shared that the \u201conly thing\u201d bringing her \u201ceven a small sense of comfort\u201d is knowing how \u201cdeeply\u201d Molly missed her sister.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe would often ask me, \u2018Mummy, when is Jesus coming back so Abi can come down?&#8217;\u201d the internet personality explained.<\/p>\n<p>Melissa, who is married to Tom Carlton, shared that their son, Harry, reassured her that Molly \u201cgot what she wanted\u201d to be with Abi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are devastated. Melissa Mae Carlton\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p>Carlton shared that she has subtle comfort in knowing how much Molly missed her sister Abi, who died last year. Melissa Mae Carlton\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p>Melissa, who didn\u2019t share Molly\u2019s age, posted heartbreaking photos of herself and Tom at their daughter\u2019s hospital bedside, and several other sweet snaps.<\/p>\n<p>The couple is also parents to a daughter named Lily.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DSxWOoyFBFV\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">follow-up post<\/a>, Melissa shared an update on Molly\u2019s death after \u201csome speculation,\u201d writing, \u201cFirst of all, we are absolutely overwhelmed by the outpouring of support &amp; prayers we have received.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe would often ask me, \u2018Mummy, when is Jesus coming back so Abi can come down?&#8217;\u201d she explained. Melissa Mae Carlton\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p>Carlton shared that her son, Harry, told her Molly \u201cgot what she wanted\u201d to be with Abi. But we\u2019ve been told that this type of cardiac event is, in most cases, not survivable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s hard to even comprehend,\u201d Melissa added. \u201cThe doctors believe Molly had a genetic heart condition and suspect this may have been the case with Abi as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a follow-up post, Carlton stated that Molly may have died from a suspected heart condition.
