The Ambassador also received an overview of the region\u2019s growing tourism strengths, particularly in\u00a0hospitality, leisure, and golf.\u00a0With major international golf events scheduled over the next two years, boosted visibility is expected to drive significant growth in golf tourism. Collaborative golf packages are being developed to\u00a0extend visitor stays\u00a0and enhance the visitor experience.<\/p>\n
Participants expressed a strong interest in building business links with Italian counterparts \u2013 an initiative Shannon Chamber intends to advance in partnership with the Italian-Irish Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n
