The Let Them Theory, published in Ireland in December 2024, has sold more than  8 million copies worldwide. The Mel Robbins Podcast, launched in 2022, is in the top 15 US podcasts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The Housemaid, a 2023 thriller by  American author Freida McFadden, is second, with 34,683 sales. A film adaptation has just been released in the US, directed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/paul-feig\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/paul-feig\/\">Paul Feig<\/a> and starring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/sydney-sweeney\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/sydney-sweeney\/\">Sydney Sweeney<\/a> and Amanda Seyfried. A sequel, The Housemaid\u2019s Secret, is 27th.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Small Things Like These by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/claire-keegan\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/claire-keegan\/\">Claire Keegan<\/a>, the highest-ranked Irish author, is third. This is the fourth year in which this title  has featured in the Irish top 10, and it has now sold more than 160,000 copies in the Republic alone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Next is Sunrise on the Reaping, The Hunger Games sequel, by Suzanne Collins; Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Partypooper, the 20th in Jeff Kinney\u2019s bestselling children\u2019s series; and Always Remember: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, the Horse and the Storm by Charlie Mackesy, his sequel to the No 1 bestseller The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">In seventh place is The Ghosts of Rome, the second in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/joseph-o-connor\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/joseph-o-connor\/\">Joseph O\u2019Connor<\/a>\u2019s Rome Escape Line trilogy after My Father\u2019s House. It was recently named Irish Book of the Year. The top 10 is completed by Guinness World Records 2026, followed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/sally-rooney\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/sally-rooney\/\">Sally Rooney<\/a>\u2019s fourth novel, Intermezzo, and the textbook, Mathematical Tables.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">An expos\u00e9 of the Kilkenny hurler-turned-swindler, The Dodger: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/dj-carey\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/dj-carey\/\">DJ Carey<\/a> and the Great Betrayal, by Eimear N\u00ed Bhraon\u00e1in, in 11th place, is the bestselling Irish nonfiction title and the bestselling book by an Irish publisher, Merrion Press.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The Impossible Fortune, the latest in Richard Osman\u2019s Thursday Murder Club series, is 12th, followed by Ireland rugby coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/andy-farrell\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/andy-farrell\/\">Andy Farrell<\/a>\u2019s autobiography, The Only Way I Know, just ahead of another memoir, Poor, by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/katriona-o-sullivan\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/katriona-o-sullivan\/\">Katriona O\u2019Sullivan<\/a>, still selling strongly a year after publication. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Next is Ninety-Nine Words for Rain (and One for Sun) by the late <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/manchan-magan\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/manchan-magan\/\">Manch\u00e1n Magan<\/a>, who has two other titles in the top 100: Listen to the Land Speak (56th) and 32 Words for Field (94th), selling almost 40,000 copies in total.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">In 16th is Sophie\u2019s Swaps, by Sophie Morris, a guide to healthier eating; followed by Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros and Binding 13 by Cork author Chloe Walsh, both romantasy titles; and by Big Jim Begins by Dav Pilkey, the bestselling children\u2019s author. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">In 20th place is Jacqueline Connolly\u2019s Deadly Silence: A Sister\u2019s Battle to Uncover the Truth Behind the Murder of Clodagh and Her Sons by Alan Hawe, which was named Non-Fiction Book of the Year last month at the Irish Book Awards. Close behind, in 23rd place, is Sarah Corbett Lynch\u2019s account of her father\u2019s killing, A Time for Truth: My Father Jason and My Search for Justice and Healing, which won Biography of the Year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Irish Novel of the Year, Nesting, by Rois\u00edn O\u2019Donnell, is 24th, followed by My Favourite Mistake by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/marian-keyes\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/marian-keyes\/\">Marian Keyes<\/a> and It Should Have Been You by thriller-writer Andrea Mara. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/matt-cooper\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/matt-cooper\/\">Matt Cooper<\/a>\u2019s Dynasty, a profile of the family behind Dunnes Stores, is 28th, followed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/marie-cassidy\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/marie-cassidy\/\">Marie Cassidy<\/a>\u2019s Deadly Evidence and Hector \u00d3 hEochag\u00e1in\u2019s An Irish Word a Day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The Impossible Fortune is the UK\u2019s bestselling title, followed by The Housemaid and Always Remember. The Let Them Theory is 11th.
