The proposal, consisting of 175 houses, 238 apartments in four to seven storey blocks, two creches and a retail unit at the old Cement Roadstone Holdings site was initially rejected by an Bord Plean\u00e1la, now An Coimisi\u00fan Plean\u00e1la.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">In July of 2019, the Coimisi\u00fan raised major concerns about flooding, with An Taisce also objecting because of the proposed development\u2019s proximity to protected nature sites, alongside concerns around noise and disturbance of wildlife habitats during construction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"An artist&#8217;s impression of what the 413 home development at Carcur could look like when finished.
