It\u2019s fair to say that 2025 has been a difficult year for the Beckham family, who have spent most of it seemingly estranged from their eldest child, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham<\/a>, and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham<\/a>.\"<\/p>\n

If you cast your mind back, you probably know that there initially seemed to be tension between Victoria Beckham<\/a> and Nicola shortly after her and Brooklyn\u2019s 2023 wedding. However, when 2024 kicked off, the family appeared to be a united front<\/a> and were on good terms\u2026 For about a year.\"<\/p>\n

In 2025, Brooklyn and Nicola failed to attend<\/a> any of David Beckham\u2019s<\/a> three 50th birthday celebrations; they also did not publicly acknowledge his big day on May 2, and when Father\u2019s Day rolled around, Brooklyn pointedly snubbed his dad<\/a> again. Despite David and Victoria including Brooklyn in multiple gushing posts at the time, Brooklyn did not acknowledge any of them or post about his dad in any capacity.\"<\/p>\n

Shortly after Father\u2019s Day, Brooklyn notably posted a birthday tribute<\/a> to Nicola\u2019s dad, billionaire Nelson Peltz, on Instagram. Alongside a photo of him and Nicola posing with Nelson, he wrote: \u201cHappy Birthday Nelson x we love you \u2764\ufe0f\u201d\"Brooklyn also failed to acknowledge his dad\u2019s knighthood in November \u2014 something that David has made no secret is incredibly important to him.\"<\/p>\n

Then, shortly before Christmas, the youngest Beckham son, Cruz, publicly revealed<\/a> that Brooklyn had blocked the entire family on Instagram after tabloids mistakenly reported that David and Victoria had unfollowed their son.\"<\/p>\n

Responding to a Daily Mail headline about the couple unfollowing Brooklyn on social media, Cruz wrote: \u201cNOT TRUE My mum and dad would never unfollow their son.. Let\u2019s get the facts right. They woke up blocked\u2026 as did I.\u201d\"<\/p>\n

But through all of this, it seems as though David and Victoria are keen to show that the door is still open for their son to come back to them, with David sharing a poignant New Year\u2019s Eve message on Wednesday.\"<\/p>\n

Posting a throwback photo of himself and Cruz to his Instagram story, David began: \u201cI\u2019m so grateful for my family I love you all.\u201d\"Over an old pic of Romeo, he added: \u201cI\u2019m so lucky to have my Amazimg family x\u201d\"<\/p>\n

On a photo with Harper, he continued: \u201cI\u2019m a very lucky Daddy.\u201d\"Then, the last photo in his story was a throwback of Victoria and all four children shortly after Harper\u2019s birth. He wrote: \u201cYou are my Life. I Love you all , Love Daddy x On to 2026.\u201d\"Victoria only reposted one of David\u2019s posts to her own story; the one of Brooklyn. She added a heart gif, but no further comment.\"<\/p>\n

David doubled down on his message in a grid post<\/a>, too, where he shared photos from the year. While Brooklyn was not in any of the photos \u2014 seemingly because David hadn’t seen him \u2014 he was alluded to in the caption, which read: \u201cI feel very lucky to have had the year I’ve had in 2025 full of moments that I will never forget from my 50th to my knighthood ( still pinching myself ) and then finishing with winning the MLS as an owner , I’m so grateful to my incredible wife , my amazing children , my friends and team I work with every single day nothing would have been possible without you all… But as Sir Alex Ferguson would say \u2018 Onto the the next \u2018 \u2764\ufe0f Thank you for the incredible memories I will forever remember 2025 \u2764\ufe0f @victoriabeckham I love you & our kids \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d\"<\/p>\n

I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative.\u201d\"\u201cI<\/p>\n

\u201cI have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question,\u201d she went on. \u201cNothing between us occurred further than a school friendship at age 16.
