Personal trainer Jack, 29, said he had “tactics for everything”, while 34-year-old builder Adam warned people would be “unable to tell if I’m lying”.<\/p>\n

Jack said the prize money would be “life-changing” for him<\/p>\n
Jack said he was a massive fan of the show and signed up because he wanted to do something outside of his comfort zone.<\/p>\n
He hoped to benefit from people’s “preconceived ideas” of someone from Essex. <\/p>\n
“If I live it up and ham it up a bit, no-one will anticipate me to be the one with all the tactics,” he said. <\/p>\n
“I already have a whole section in my tactics book called ‘brutal tactics’, which are ones I’ll only employ if I feel that things are slipping, but I’ve got these tactics that I know will work.”<\/p>\n
If he won the game, he said the money would go towards a deposit for a property, which he said would be “life-changing”. <\/p>\n

Adam said he signed up for the show for a challenge<\/p>\n
Adam described himself as a “very outspoken, dramatic sort of person” and applied for the show as he liked to “out-think people”. <\/p>\n
“I’ve got the sort of brain that thinks of something 100 times before anyone else has,” he said.<\/p>\n
“I have to win. My boy beat me on FIFA the other day and I was not happy!”<\/p>\n
If he won the show, he would take his family to Florida for a “holiday of a lifetime”. <\/p>\n
Claudia Winkleman will return to host the series, which launches on BBC One and iPlayer at 20:00 GMT on Thursday.<\/p>\n
