{"id":223897,"date":"2026-01-02T18:55:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-02T18:55:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/223897\/"},"modified":"2026-01-02T18:55:14","modified_gmt":"2026-01-02T18:55:14","slug":"no-one-left-alone-during-eves-year-as-network-ireland-limerick-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/223897\/","title":{"rendered":"No-one left alone during Eve\u2019s year as Network Ireland Limerick president"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE OUTGOING president of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/section\/233\/business\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Network<\/a> Ireland Limerick, Eve Stafford, has said the theme of her year in office was the need to\u00a0 ensure people are not alone.<\/p>\n<p>The well-known local soprano has led the group, which supports women in business and the arts, for the last year.<\/p>\n<p>With the arrival of 2026, she is being replaced in the role by Barbara MacCarthy.<\/p>\n<p>READ MORE:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/news\/sponsored-content\/1974978\/plan-your-perfect-day-at-the-limerick-strand-hotel-wedding-open-day.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Plan Your Perfect Day at the Limerick Strand Hotel Wedding Open Day!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>And Ms Stafford has taken a moment to reflect.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than prioritising future growth in numbers, she said the focus of Network Ireland Limerick in her year was strengthening existing relationships.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne thing I was determined about was that no one would ever be left standing on their own,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt every event this year, no matter where I turned, the committee made sure that people felt included.
