The long-awaited season 14 of The Masked Singer<\/a> is almost upon us, which means all-new costumes to ogle.\n<\/p>\n

Prior to the series’ return on Fox on Jan. 7, the network announced that 18 new masks would be taking the stage this season. And, in a series first, the identity of the celebrity under one of the masks will be known to the world<\/a> (but not the panelists) ahead of time. That person, dubbed “America’s Insider” because she will take viewers behind her journey throughout the season, has been revealed as singer and\u00a0Descendants\u00a0star Kylie Cantrall.\n<\/p>\n

As for the other contestants, your guess is as good as ours, but maybe there’s some hidden clues in the costumes, which Entertainment Weekly is rounding up all together in one place, below. From an Eggplant with “big mask energy” to a 14 Karat Carrot (yes, really), check out all of the zany new costumes for The Masked Singer season 14.\n<\/p>\n

The Masked Singer execs couldn’t help themselves here. In an obvious nod to the show’s 14th season, we’ve got a vegetable gilded in gold \u2014 not 24k, not 18k \u2014 but 14k, because of course we do.\n<\/p>\n

Well, isn’t this costume just delightful? Questionable choice of yellow-colored snow aside, the rest of the ensemble just evokes fond summertime memories, colors, and flavors.\n<\/p>\n

Fox introduced this costume on social media<\/a> with its own poster blaring the words, “Big mask energy.” And that’s about all we can safely say on the matter. They knew what they were doing.\n<\/p>\n

That spiky skirt looks like a safety hazard waiting to happen, but overall, this costume is completely out of this world. (Sorry, we had to.)\n<\/p>\n

If this contestant doesn’t at some point get to scream-sing an AC\/DC song, it will be a major missed opportunity. Or, better yet, how about putting someone from the band under the mask? Do it, ya cowards!\n<\/p>\n

If a cyborg and an owl had a baby, this costume would be it. The teal color is gorgeous, and overall the outfit is super cute, but the millennial in us can’t shake the feeling it is all very Furby-esque. Shudders.\n<\/p>\n

Every season has to have a costume that is pure nightmare fuel, and this year, it seems Googly Eyes is it. We’re not sure what’s more terrifying \u2014 its massive size, or those worm-looking appendages.\n<\/p>\n
