Four of the five people injured in an arson attack on a home in Finglas have been discharged from hospital, but one woman is continuing to receive treatment.<\/p>\n

Garda\u00ed are appealing for information in relation to the fire, which broke out in the Creston Avenue area at about 12.45am on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Emergency services responded to and extinguished the fire in the early hours of New Year\u2019s Eve.<\/p>\n

The five occupants of the house were a woman in her 40s; a woman in her 20s; and three teenagers, two girls and one boy; who were brought by ambulance to James Connolly Memorial and Temple Street Children\u2019s hospitals.<\/p>\n

The injuries to the woman in her 40s and teenage boy were described as serious, while the injuries to the three others were said to be non-life threatening.<\/p>\n

All but the woman in her 40s have been discharged.<\/p>\n

Garda\u00ed are continuing to investigate the incident.<\/p>\n

In an update on the investigation, a spokesperson said: \u201cFour of the five occupants of the house have been discharged from hospital and continue to receive medical attention.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe woman, aged in her 40s, remains in hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Her condition is described as stable.\u201d<\/p>\n
