A much-loved mini farm along Waterford\u2019s Copper Coast has announced its closure, sparking an outpouring of best wishes from its loyal customers. <\/p>\n
Management announced on New Year\u2019s Eve, that the family friendly farm is to close permanently and that a therapeutic riding and animal therapy facility will also now not be opening as planned.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is with great sadness that I have to announce the permanent closure of Copper Coast Mini Farm,\u201d said manager Tanya Power.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who played their part in making the mini farm a great place to visit. No doubt there were many wonderful memories made here over the past 22 years. From the owners, to the staff, volunteers and the animals, with all my heart I thank you.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd to all of you who have taken the time to visit Copper Coast Mini Farm, a huge thank you. It was a pleasure to meet you all over the years.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would also like to take this opportunity to also mention that the therapeutic riding-animal therapy facility which was planned to open in Copper Coast Mini Farm during the winter and spring months will no longer be available here. I am still looking for an alternative premises.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ms Power said it had been a privilege to work with such \u201cgreat staff, visitors and animals over the years. I will miss you all very much.\u201d<\/p>\n
The popular site has been inundated with sympathies and best wishes for future.<\/p>\n
One supporter said Tanya and the team had created an \u201camazing natural place for people to enjoy and gave children freedom and a safe place to play and explore, a priceless experience and amazing memories”.<\/p>\n
