Scotstown take on St Brigid\u2019s in the AIB All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship semi-final at Kingspan Breffni in Cavan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Monaghan<\/a> and Ulster<\/a> champions secured their spot in the semi-final after their provincial final win over Kilcoo at the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds.<\/p>\n

St Brigid\u2019s presents a tough challenge for the \u2018An Bhoth\u2019 side, with the Roscommon<\/a> champions having made three finals in the last 15 years, winning their first All-Ireland title in 2013.<\/p>\n

They last made the showpiece in 2024, when they lost to Glen in the final at Croke Park<\/a>, but will be hoping to take advantage of the current crop\u2019s inexperience at the national club level and dismantle the Ulster giants\u2019 season.<\/p>\n

Scotstown, though, have plenty of top-tier talent to flex, from Rory Beggan in goal right through to Jack McCarron in the full-forward line, with Monaghan players in every unit.<\/p>\n

The Farney club haven\u2019t been in an All-Ireland final<\/a> since 1979, when they were defeated by Nemo Rangers, who won their second title and went on to win five more since then.<\/p>\n
