Lotto players in Co Dublin are being urged to check their tickets after one lucky punter from the capital scooped a life-changing six-figure prize in Saturday night’s draw<\/a>.<\/p>\n Despite the main Lotto<\/a> jackpot going unclaimed, Saturday’s draw wasn’t a total loss with over 82,000 winners across the draws.<\/p>\n Among them was one main draw player who came agonisingly close to scooping the jackpot worth an eye watering \u20ac4,903,396, matching five of the six winning numbers plus the bonus.<\/p>\n While the player may have missed out on the jaw-dropping sum, they still have plenty of reason to celebrate as they bagged the Match 5 + Bonus prize worth \u20ac174,706.<\/p>\n The winning numbers in last night\u2019s (Saturday, January 3) Lotto draw were: 3, 9, 11, 13, 26, 35 and the bonus was 31.<\/p>\n The National Lottery<\/a> has now confirmed that the lucky Lotto winner purchased their ticket on Friday (January 2) from Jay\u2019s Newsagents, 93 Rosemount Avenue, Artane, Dublin 5.<\/p>\n Lotto bosses are appealing to Dublin<\/a> players to check their tickets to see if they have bagged the massive prize.<\/p>\n Darragh O\u2019Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson said: \u201cWhat a fantastic way to start the New Year for one player in Dublin who has just won an incredible \u20ac174,706 after matching 5 numbers and the bonus in last night\u2019s main Lotto draw.<\/p>\n “If you bought your ticket in Jay\u2019s Newsagent in Artane, now\u2019s the time to double-check, you could be Ireland\u2019s newest big winner!<\/p>\n “While there was no winner of the \u20ac4,903,396 jackpot on offer, over 78,000 players won prizes in the Lotto & Lotto Plus draws. Wednesday\u2019s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated \u20ac5.2 million.\u201d<\/p>\n The latest Lotto winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to keep it safe.
