New comedy-drama series These Sacred Vows, starring a stellar Irish cast, is set to debut on RT\u00c9 One and RT\u00c9 Player next month. Check out the official trailer below.<\/p>\n

Written and directed by award-winning Irish screenwriter John Butler, the series opens the morning after an Irish wedding on a Spanish island, when the body of a priest is found floating face-down in the swimming pool of the young guests’ villa.<\/p>\n

Over the course of six episodes, with the first offering debuting on RT\u00c9 One and RT\u00c9 Player on Sunday, 1 February, the action jumps back in time to revisit the key events of a wild previous week – each from the perspective of a different character.<\/p>\n

Tom Vaughan-Lawlor is set to play Fr. Vincent, while India Mullen watches the chaos unfold as wedding party guest, Ava.<\/p>\n

Mother-of-the-bride Sandra is played by Justine Mitchell, with Jason O’Mara taking on the role of father-of-the-bride, Jerry.<\/p>\n

These Sacred Vows is one of nine drama productions for RT\u00c9 filmed this year creating 142 hours of homegrown storytelling across screens in Ireland.<\/p>\n
